The importance of having green around is the need of the hour. Today the world is everything but green. Starting from health issues to just breathing fresher air or looking out for peace one needs to think twice to find any place available. Have you ever wondered why we have always been constantly loosing out on everything despite the realisation of its destruction and effect on our future? The need to together be responsible to have a healthier environment would be to keep a greener environment. What better can one find in the "GARDEN CITY" if it's not for its fascinating green spaces and parks that today is also well maintained. Here are a few parks that has a breathtaking view and could be your next weekend spot. This sprawling city has so much to offer to its visitors and its residents.
The Zen Park
At the crossroads of a busy city, one can come across the beautifully designed infrastructure “The Zen Park". We often forget to look around and appreciate what’s around us and wonder for locations. The hectic life schedule and need for fitness have led to a demand for small parks with minimum exercising tools. If you are one of those looking for good fitness and natural beauty this park is endowed with both.
The Zen Park or The Buddha Park is a beautiful every day visiting park for one’s usual morning and evening walks. The park has basic exercising equipment that you can work out on. Not only for adults but this park has everything one wants to enjoy evenings with. The park has a hilly terrain to get you a birds-eye view of the buildings and the sunrise or sunset.
Other facilities at Zen park includes a separate children park and also many sitting areas around. The park is also designed with different types of storytelling statue and Japanese style buildings around called MINKA or houses. The whole park is an interesting place to be at.
Not only this but this park is also used for different photoshoots as the scenic background gives some of the best backdrops. The park was built for the purpose of contribution to the public help and encourage gatherings outside homes but today it’s a commercial spot for photographers.

Hebbal Lake Park
Though the city has a busy lifestyle it has made sure to keep the best locations safe for relaxing gateways. Situated around the lake, the park got its name as Hebbal Lake park. If you are looking for a weekend spot or a location for peace then this park is the one. The lake park is surrounded by beautiful flowers and a well-maintained garden to spend your time. The park is also used for photo shoots and is also a filming location.
Hebbal is a famous spot in the city but only a few are aware of this park located beside the roadside. Preserving these natural locations has become a difficult job but the city has made sure to keep nature safe. The lake has varied species of birds. The park also has a long pathway to take evening and morning walks. Like all other parks, this park also is surrounded by tall trees around and doesn’t disappoint you.

Jaye Bahal KE Park Bud
In the hustling city, we all are surrounded by concrete walls and long for a peaceful environment. One of the parks in Bangalore even before we reach the famous Cubbon park is the Jaye Bahal Ke Park Bud in the city. This park is a must-visit if you are looking for a weekend day out or photoshoot locations in the city. The park is beautifully carved with statues around and street food around. One can also see different bird species and plants around the park. The tall trees around also give the area the perfect picnic spot. Very few people seen are with skates and bicycles. Aspiring photographers choose this spot as their photoshoot location. The park is situated in a large area and thus the electronic vehicle is also available to get the complete view. The park is also known for its variety of butterflies around. A well-maintained park indeed is just opposite to the Vidhan Soudha building. We all know of the famous Cubbon park here but often miss some amazing locations nearby.
