Bangalore has the highest number of internally migrated people in India which makes it uniquely diverse as a majority is the youth. The food here too shows the multiculturalism with a few uncommon dishes. Most of them are found in the crowded lanes with people looking for closefisted places to eat good food.
Pineapple Bhajji

The sour and sweet taste of pineapple when combined with conundrum of salt and spices, gives a mouthwatering product! It’s served with a garnish of onion, carrot, coriander and green chutney which makes it more tempting than it sounds.Capsicum bhajji, Mushroom bhajji, Balekai bhajji, are some of the other bhajjis available. Thatte Idly and bonda are also good.
When one is anywhere around this place, the smell of Bhajjis does not permit them to leave the area without visiting Bhaji corner and eating the different types that they have to offer. They have a little store in the corner where they fry their items and serve it to the people standing. They’re served hot and only starts in the evening. It is one of the places a foodie wouldn’t want to miss.

Crazy chat

Hong Kong chat, Anarkali chat, Disco chat, Ting Tong chat, Students chat, Kiss chat, are few of the 99 chats that Sri Sai Ram Chats has to offer. Among them, Crazy chat is a mixture of all of them and as the name suggests, it is the craziest! To simplify the taste, it can be said that it’s just different fryums mixed in different chutneys and if one wishes, it’s garnished with onion, carrots, curd and bhujiya. It has a very south indian flavour to it which maybe why many from north india will not enjoy it as much.
Sri sai ram chats is a very small stall in a room at the crossroads near sampige road. It’s cozy and warm, with friendly staff of four.

Masala Pani puri

The name sounds very mainstream but the concept is just as different. A normal plate of pani puri is served with a glass of what looks like normal, clear water. Only after one drinks it will he find out that it’s an exotic flavour that hits different and is very strong. Apparently, that clear water is flavoured with 15 different ingredients like ginger, chilli, garlic etc.
Bangarpet pani puri and chat centre is the typical north indian chat place that many crave with the different types of chats and other dishes. On weekends, they also serve pani puri with different fruity flavours of water.

Charcoal Latte

Charcoal does not have a taste of it’s own, yet it feels pleasant to sip it due to the texture as latte since it becomes milkier and feels like a milkshake. What’s different is that it still gives a coffee aroma. It is an acquired taste so not all enjoy it but this is THE place for all the coffee lovers! Karma kaapi. Red velvet latte, Banarasi Mojito, Coffee beer, Mango Vietnamese coffee, Spicy popcorn latte, Ragi rumble, are a few different flavours of drinks available here.
The most impressive thing about this place is how they import different types of coffee beans from the different locations and roast them through the different equipment as that brings out the difference in their coffee. The place is also aesthetically pleasing with the different furniture used, paired with quotes on walls. It’s got the perfect ambiance for an evening off!
